Licensing and limits

The free tier

Free is not a trial and does not expire. It gives you:

• 10 widgets
• 2 screens
• Every widget type: nothing is reserved for paying users

That last point is the important one. The free tier is limited by how much you can place, never by which widgets you can place. If a widget appears in this documentation, it is available to you.

Pro

Pro is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. It lifts the widget and screen limits.

Reaching a limit

When you are at the free widget limit the Add-Widget picker says so rather than letting you place a widget that then fails. Existing widgets keep working; you are prevented from adding more, not degraded.

Uninstalling

Removing Themia leaves your machine as it was. Widget layouts and settings live in your user profile; connected accounts are authorized with your provider and can be revoked there.

What we collect

Themia’s widgets talk to your services directly: your mail provider, your calendar, your file system. Nothing routes through our servers and no widget content is transmitted to us.
