What it does
Lists your paired Bluetooth devices with a connection indicator on each. Every device gets an icon matched to its type: headphones, mouse, keyboard, phone, gamepad, or a generic Bluetooth mark for anything else.
Where the device reports them, battery level and signal strength are available too.
The right-click menu has a Refresh entry that re-queries immediately; otherwise the list polls every 10 seconds by default.
Where the data comes from
The Windows Bluetooth stack, enumerated locally. Device type is inferred from the device name, which is how Windows itself presents this information.
Limits
- Paired devices only. This is not a scanner; it will not discover new devices to pair.
- It cannot connect, disconnect or unpair. Those live in Windows Settings.
- Battery level depends entirely on the device reporting it; many peripherals do not.
