Notes
A persistent text note that lives on the desktop.
What it does
A note you type straight into, filling the whole widget. Text is saved as you write.
The header title resolves to your widget label if you set one, otherwise the note’s own title, otherwise “Notes”, so a desktop with several Notes widgets is readable without naming each one by hand.
Font size is adjustable with a slider or by typing a number.
Spellcheck is deliberately off, since a note surface full of red underlines is noisier than it is helpful.
Clear notes empties the note behind a confirmation dialog. The text is not recoverable afterwards, which is why the button sits apart from the other settings.
Where the data comes from
Local. Notes are stored on your machine with the rest of your Themia configuration and are included in export and import. Nothing syncs anywhere.
Limits
- Plain text. No markdown rendering, formatting, checklists or attachments.
- No revision history or undo beyond what the editor itself holds during a session.
